Why do you fail at quitting porn?
This is the million dollar question, and I have 5 answers to share with you.
After coaching 100+ people 1-1, and having escaped from the PMO trap myself after nearly 20 years of an addiction (even after marrying the woman of my dreams), I can tell you a few things.
Over the next few days, I’d like to share with you 5 ways we delude ourselves.
The Information Delusion
This when you believe you just need to cram more information. If you spend all your time on sites like YourBrainOnPorn, or reddit forums, this might be you.
You believe the only thing that’s keeping you from making progress is that you haven’t learned the idea enough that PMO is bad for you.
If this was the case, then at what point do you become free? After you read a book 5x, 10x, 100x?
Does it require getting a PhD in this subject to become free?
The mind is fooling you by saying: “you slipped again, you must have missed the idea that PMO is bad for you. Here, spend more time telling you that PMO is bad for you so you can quit it.”
The fact is, you already knew that PMO is bad for you! You don’t need to be reminded a million times more!
Otherwise, you will keep searching forever for some mysterious golden idea/insight to make you free.
This is NO different than urge-surfing to find that “perfect” video to PMO to.
Do you now get it?
I’m starting something to help you get out of this delusion once and for all! In fact, I’m doing something to help you get out of the PMO addiction prison, and stay out!
